3 Teenagers Arrested for Australian Arson

This Sunday, 3 teenage boys, who had been seen dringking in school gorunds, were suspected of deliberately setting fire to a 63 year-old primary school in Queensland, Australia.

Emotions Unbalanced

This arson caused a load of emotional damage not only to parents and teachers but to students that attended to the school. Wavell Heights Primary School had been a school to some for generations. "My mum came here, I came here and my children came here." stated Kim Schmike, former student and parent, who was shocked by the arson.

Kathy Taylor, teacher at the school, sobbed that their resources were all gone, along with their jobs and maybe their careers. Students were also very sad about their loss. Former student, John Simpson, was disappointed to see the destruction. "The school took a big part of my life and it's sad to see it go." he stammered.

Try To Tame Fire

Wavell heights in flames

The fire could be noticed from most of Queensland and the firefighters did not need a call to get ready and take-off for the rescue. But when they got there at 11 PM, 30 minutes after the fire started, the Year 5, 6 and 7 classrooms with the both Music and Art classrooms were already engulfed in bright flames that were too powerful to overwhelm. Although the firefighters tried their best, when the fire was finally stopped, most of the school was in ashes.

Police Personell Participation

Even though the Queensland Police Department is not sure if the fire was deliberate, there are 3 teenagers suspected of having set the fire. The teenage boys are being accused because they were seen drinking on school grounds earlier during the day and wore moved on by police officers. The teenagers went back to the school, which they were not allowed to do, and the police officers had to be more tough and moved them on - again. Later on during the evening, a fire started for no particular reason

Now the teenagers are being held by the police. They are being charged for arson and are being questioned by local police. If you have any information that would help solve this mystery, call 987.

                                               My Earliest Memory
As far as my tiny brain can remember, I was an active child as little. In my home city, there were many indoor theme parks and my parents took me and my brother to those places millions of times. The one time I can remember was when it was Summer, 2005.

Like all the times me and my brother went straight to our favourite toy. It was basically a pool filled with little colourful balls instead of water. To get in that "pool" you've got to go down a short and cold slide. However, that day, standing in front of the child-friendly bright colored slide was an unpleasant child.

The 8-year old boy reminded me of Shrek. Not because he was green(although that would be funny) but because he was really ugly. His ears were big and it seemed like his red nose wasn't placed where it was supposed to be. His eyes were a cold blue and he looked like he had run into a post and made his mouth BIG. But the worst was his teeth. They were yellow and were out of place. What made me angry and caused me to do what I did next wasn't his appearance but his attitude towards my brother and I.

He started to tease my brother and calling him bad names, but he just did it because he didn't know me. I had a temper. Very bad one. So the moment he started to say those horrible things I started getting furious inside. So the next thing I did was push the bully down the slide. By the time his bottom actually hit the slide he was almost in the pool so he didn't get hurt. My parents and I still talk about it and it was surely one event to remember.
